Daffodil Festival – April – The Daffodil Festival travels across Tacoma, Puyallup, Sumner, and Orting, and is one of the top floral festivals in the country. The festival is highlighted by the Grand Floral Street Parade!
Mayfest – May – Lakewold Gardens MayFest celebrates the arrival of Spring with gorgeous flower displays. The gardens are open Tuesday-Sunday throughout May with guided tours available on Saturdays.
Taste of Tacoma – Mid-Summer – Looking for a taste of the city? Held in Point Defiance Park, the Taste of Tacoma is the city’s largest food festival and features foods & beverages from dozens of Tacoma’s favorite restaurants. It’s like the ultimate family picnic!
Gig Harbor Food and Wine Festival – July – Located in Gig Harbor, this wine festival is a 3-day celebration that features 30 wineries, craft distilleries, and breweries from throughout Washington. Events include Pier to Table Dinner, Waterfront Block Party, and Champagne Brunch.
Sumner Rhubarb Days – July – Sumner is the "Rhubarb Pie Capital of the World,” and the city celebrates this unique distinction with a pie-eating contest, a rhubarb bake-off, games, music, and more.
Washington State Fair – September – Over one million people flock to Puyallup each year to partake in one of the top ten largest fairs in the world. Oktoberfest Northwest – October – Celebrate Oktoberfest with some great beer and brats in Puyallup. Located at the Puyallup Fairgrounds, 15,000 attendees come each year to enjoy the German music and dancing, arts and crafts, and authentic cuisine.
